I'm Miles — a founder-operator and full-stack product engineer based in San Diego, CA. I design and build products end to end, with a rare span from silicon to cloud to model. I've shipped venture-backed hardware and software from prototype to production — 8 patents.

Today I help product and engineering teams turn hard problems into shipped products. I work fluently with AI and build AI-enabled products when they're the right tool — but the through-line is product judgment and the range to build the whole thing, from firmware and mechanical to app, data, and model.

Away from the workbench I'm a family man with a pull toward adventure. I build projects for fun and for work, and occasionally write down what I'm learning in my posts.
