I'm Miles — a multidisciplinary designer and engineer based in San Diego, CA. I work across the whole stack of making things: industrial design, electronics, and software. Most of my work lives at the intersection of hardware and health technology.

I'm drawn to hard problems and the craft of turning them into beautiful, practical, and delightful products — from smart hydration systems and wearables to medical-device software. I care about the details, and about shipping things that actually work in people's hands.

Away from the workbench I'm a family man with a pull toward adventure. I build projects for fun and for work, and occasionally write down what I'm learning in my posts.
